Basic BLET and Police Academy Prep.
Get an overview of the basic law enforcement training program and the North Carolina police academy. If you’re interested in changing your career, attending BLET, or you’ve already been accepted into a program, you’re in the right place. If you’re feeling unsure about what it’s like to serve as an officer, we’ll help you get a better understanding. And we’ll tell you what you need to do to get ready.
Prep certification topics include: BLET expectations, Physical Fitness assessment, NC F3 personal history evaluation, reading comprehension examination, BLET academic success strategies, Police Purpose and Police Career Character.
This is a 24-hour course presented on a weekly schedule for seven (7) consecutive weeks.
Complete our certificate program and you will be well on your way to success in a North Carolina BLET program.

General overview of physical fitness expectations and demands of the Basic Law Enforcement program. Student will receive insight and strategies to enhance fitness success in the BLET program.
General overview of the purpose of the call in police work with success based on the understanding that God uses police officers for His purpose. This course will demand you to delve into your spirit and understand purpose in the call to serve.
General overview of the strategies to maintain a healthy relationship with a spouse, significant other or friend will provide you with a way to evenly distribute the weight bearing of problems and challenges associated with the police profession.
General overview of understanding the call from God and how He chooses people to serve in specific assignments. Student will better understand and prepare to make an abrupt change and focus on a new career.
General overview of being disciplined through God in order to sustain good character for future career goals. Prior to entering the B.L.E.T program, a self-assessment must be undertaken by the prospective candidate. The candidate should evaluate their present life to include decisions they have made that have had adverse consequences. Student will better understand police background requirements.
Our courses are presented online and/or traditional classroom on a weekly schedule for seven (7) consecutive weeks. You will be expected to complete each course within seven (7) days from the starting date of the course. Contact your Academic Advisor for more information.
