Welcoming Student Athletes!
Blue Lights College would like to present one of its student athletes that will be playing under Coach Zach. We’re very excited to have him and many more talented young men on the team!
We’ll get you prepared for a universe of opportunities through immersive education in our three foundational pillars: faith, purpose, and trust. We’ll encourage you to focus on academics, athletics, career development, and your spiritual connection with God.
We’ll show you how your perception of yourself is limiting your ability to find your place in the world. And we’ll help you rise strong.
“As a law enforcement professional with over 30 years of experience, I see the value of a young future cadet getting the fundamentals and core tools to be successful in this complex profession prior to going full throttle with the traditional Basic Law Enforcement Training. Blue Lights College will be a game-changer in helping law enforcement attract and prepare the kind of community police officers our profession gravely needs.” -Chief Gary Tyson (retired), Siler City, NC Police Department
My studying and discipling at Blue Lights College has prepared me for joining the police academy, and I now have a better understanding about the call to serve. Thank you to everyone at Blue Lights who went above and beyond for me. You’ve changed my life.
Blue Lights College has helped me do something with my life. I feel so grateful for the incredible opportunities and mentorship I’ve received while at Blue Lights, and I’m especially thankful for Captain Jacques’s incredible drive and faith.
Our police force is not trained in crisis intervention until they’ve been on the force for a minimum of two years – that’s at least two years of building stereotypes and habits that are hard to break.
In addition to your advanced police training at Blue Lights College, you will graduate already equipped to compassionately approach individuals with mental illness, and you will enter the force ready to apply faith, purpose, and trust to bridge a critical gap between the sick and the healthy. It’s inevitable: change starts with the next generation – and the next generation is you.
